So its been awhile since we’ve done one of these, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy updating the product (we’ve been so busy in fact, that we haven’t had much time to post new updates to this blog – that’s our excuse and we’re sticking with it).
With that, here are some of the highlights of what we’ve been up to so far this year:
We’ve introduced a fully interactive Calendar interface to allow your Coordination, Detailing/Drafting, Manufacturing, QA and Shipping teams to see and update their items in their court to help with planning and scheduling of production orders across the enterprise and throughout the entire supply-chain life-cycle.
Now the complete workflow from BOM creation, material procurement including shipping and receiving right through storage and usage of those material in your prefab can be performed seamlessly with ManufactOn.
“Shop First” and “Field Request” Workflow
Do you want to START your implementation of ManufactOn in the shop and then scale it out from there? Do you have any unplanned work that goes from “Field – to – Shop – to – Field” directly?
ManufactOn now supports the creation of Production Orders post-planning and coordination to allow field teams to quickly identify, create and track prefab that was not planned for (for whatever reason).
Capturing this data not only allows you and your teams to see the full scope of what is happening in your shop, but also helps with the total quality management of the plant and allows plant managers to answer the question, “how much unplanned work do we have, and why?”.
Mobile User can Now Create Shipping Orders
Field Teams can now create shipping orders from their mobile device in the field to initiate shipment of the things they know they are going to need soon!
TONS of Usability Enhancements
- Simpler Menu Interface to all you more easily get to the tools you use the most to…

In the Future, we’ll (do our best to) post an update every time we update the software or mobile app. But if you every have any questions or suggestions, feel free to give us a shout.
