Murali iyer has over 25 years of experience in architecting and developing scalable software solutions. He has been an early member of several software startups, including Broadband Access Systems which was acquired by ADC Telecom for 2.25 billion dollars. He has also been at technical leadership positions at large corporations such as Motorola, Google and Bigband Networks. In addition to hands on experience building highly performing, geographically dispersed teams, while at Motorla and Google, Murali served as regional GTM lead for the entire portfolio Broadband Access networks products for APAC region, generating regional revenues of over $200M. As the technical lead for the team that developed first Web Server for Windows NT, Murali conceived, developed and published ISAPI specification. His presentation of ISAPI at the 1995 W3C consortium in Boston was well received subsequently became a standard Web protocol.
Murali is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur, India and holds an MBA from Boston University, graduating with honors.
Murali is married with two children, both of whom are attending college. He is fond of all things outdoors, an avid tennis player and a gardener who loves to grow vegetables that are typically grown in India in his backyard.
